    The composition depicts champagne flutes crossing mid-toast, set above a scattering of glittering confetti. Two distinct visual layers structure the image: recoloured photographic elements and vivid neon outlines that trace the glasses with illustrative flair. This combination heightens the sense of movement and festivity, as if the scene sparkles under artificial light. Commissioned with a view toward the distant year 2000, the work conveys a distinctly upbeat and prosperous vision of the future. The neon highlight effect recalls techniques seen in Warhol’s trial proofs and in portfolios such as Endangered Species.
