GSTAAD PALACE 2007: Andipa, London

We are delighted to welcome you to our first exhibition in collaboration with Gstaad Palace, a world leading luxury hotel in the mountains of Switzerland.

Open since 1913, Gstaad Palace is one of the only family-owned and -operated hotels in Switzerland, and guests are treated like extended members of the family (big-names who have checked in here have included Louis Armstrong, Liz Taylor and Marc Chagall). During World War II, the hotel housed other treasures: owing to its isolated location on the upper mountainside, the Swiss government hid a large portion of the country’s gold reserves in a two-storey bunker at the hotel.
 
Andipa is honoured to play a part in the continuing story of this historically significant and beautifully situated hotel with a selection of important modern and contemporary works of art from our private collection. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Andipa in a relaxed environment; to view and acquire master works of art, benefitting from our extensive knowledge of the international art market.
