    Banksy Bombhugger (Bomb Love)

    Banksy’s Bomb Love, also known as Bomb Hugger, is one of his most recognisable anti-war images and a defining example of his early screenprint work. First appearing as a mural in East London in 2001, the composition was later reproduced in Banksy’s books Banging Your Head Against a Brick Wall and Wall and Piece. In 2003, the image was released as a limited-edition screenprint consisting of 150 signed and 600 unsigned prints, originally in fluorescent pink. Through its striking juxtaposition of innocence and violence, the artwork explores themes of war, vulnerability, and the normalisation of conflict within contemporary society and media culture.
