Released alongside a collection of prints known as the Barely Legal Box Set other works that appeared at the time include Grannies, Applause, Sale Ends and Festival.
The piece depicts modern man and is a comment on our inability to make ends meet. No longer are we the fine tuned hunter gatherers of times gone by but passive, incapable and removed from the very world which shaped us. In the print we can see three cavemen, representing nature, with basic spears confronted with three supermarket trolleys that can be seen as modernity. The juxtaposition between modernity and nature is driven home in a light-hearted take by the artist as he plays with the expectations of the viewer.
