20 1/8 x 14 3/4 in.
Framed: 59 x 45.5 x 3 cm.
23 1/4 x 17 7/8 x 1 1/8 in.
This signed and numbered edition was produced in a limited run of just 50 impressions on Arches wove paper, each hand-signed by Picasso and marked with its individual number. It is catalogued as Bloch 1017, Mourlot 350, and Cramer 113, and is widely regarded as one of the most vivid and collectable lithographs from the Toros series. The image measures approximately 8 × 10 inches, with the sheet size around 9½ × 12½ inches.
Highly sought after by collectors, the signed edition of Le Picador II represents not only Picasso’s technical brilliance in lithography but also his deep personal connection to Spanish culture and tradition. The composition pulses with rhythmic lines, bold colour, and a theatrical flair—qualities that define Picasso’s late printmaking and elevate this piece beyond mere documentation of a bullfight into a powerful celebration of motion, ritual, and identity.
