Damien Hirst | Works on Paper: Andipa, London

Overview

The Andipa Gallery has released dates for its Damien Hirst – Works on Paper exhibition as 11th February to 5th March 2005. 

 

50 drawings, small paintings and signed prints from the Andipa collection will be available for acquisition, including ‘Red Spin’, a small spin painting with household gloss paint on paper; ‘Valium’, a Lambda print on Fuji Gloss photographic paper, signed, edition of 500; ‘Cineole’, a recently released etching comprising 61 colour spots, signed, edition of 145; and ‘Relationships’ from 1991 ICA exhibition, a mini installation of a glass filled with water and a ping-pong ball.

 

A 40-page illustrated catalogue will accompany the exhibition with a preface by Sarah Kent, art critic for Time Out and author of Shark Infested Waters, an exploration of the Saatchi Collection. 

 

Press viewing is available at the Andipa Gallery on the 3rd and 4th February between `10:00 am and 7:00 pm.  Champagne and drinks will be served.  The director,
