Louis Brandeis is a screenprint created by Andy Warhol in 1980. The print is part of Andy Warhol’s Ten Portraits of Jews of the 20th Century portfolio. The series was commissioned by Ronald Feldman and Susan Feldman, who devised a list of 10 prominent Jewish figures of the 20th century.

Warhol uses various coloured blocks to frame Louis Brandeis’ face, pink in the centre, with a teal blue around his ears, blue on his hair, yellow on his neck, with a red strip down the right-hand side. These colours stand out beautifully against the black background, and draw attention to the eyes of the figure, which are outlined in a red crayon.  Brandeis was an American lawyer who became the first Jewish man to be appointed onto the Supreme Court. He served as associate justice from 1916-1939.  He began devoting the majority of his time to public issues and eventually received the nickname the "People's Lawyer." He insisted on taking cases for free in order to focus on the larger concerns at hand. The Economist magazine described him as "a Robin Hood of the law." Among his important early cases were litigation against railroad monopolies, defence of employment and labour laws, assistance in the establishment of the Federal Reserve System, and presentation of suggestions to the nascent Federal Trade Commission. His crusade against huge businesses' uncontrolled influence, as well as his insights into the issues of mass consumption in the twentieth century, are still significant today. It seems somewhat unusual for an Artist such as Warhol, who would regularly turn commercialisation into art and vice-versa, to depict a figure who strongly believed the influence of monopolies, powerful businesses, public corruption, and mass consumerism were bad for American culture and ideals. This print demonstrates Warhol's ability to capture the spirit of his subject matter. While he was previously recognised for his interest in celebrities and pop culture, in this series he dives deeper, representing characters of historical and cultural significance. Brandeis, with his contributions to American law and role in defining the country's legal structure, fits well into this story.
